When our minds become stuck in the past, or are anxiously projecting into the future, we’re missing the experience of the current reality that exists: the present moment. And it is in the present moment that you can change your reality …. The future is a probability. In terms of ordinary experience, nothing exists there yet. It is virgin territory, planted by your feelings, thoughts and beliefs in the present. Present reality is nothing more than a past moment repeated enough times."

The illusion of Time.
When we use abstract representations of time such as numbers to define the moment that is both past, present and future, it leaves the observer in a state of suspended “reality”. We are no longer present, tapping into the infinite, the eternal or the power of the present moment. Our attention is moved some “when” and somewhere else. We miss the present, where we are most powerful and creative. We splinter time, and not embody it fully.
How time fragments work to your advantage.
Glimpses of moments in time can bless us, or warp and suspend our perception of time.
If we recap moments to the finest second, we might not be able to find anything there that is solid unless the moment is connected to a feeling, result, object, place or person.
Understanding what those events mean to you will establish a powerful link to inspire memory. Clarity can be lost with repetition of an event, but the fragment containing the chemistry of the “feeling of the event” will inspire memory.
Fragments with powerful chemistry links, in my opinion, can create time fragments that can help us heal. Or, to put this another way, moments in time can highlight what is important to us, or brings forth evidence of something that operates on autopilot that limits or halts our movement forward.
What I’m talking about is healing mind, body and spirit by using moments of time to empower, to gain strength and mental clarity. It is possible to re-write, re-wire and bring forward a more focused and empowered version of yourself by being fully present, and yet, recognizing the “story” being presented as time fragments, in your thoughts.
Well," said Pooh, "what I like best," and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.

Memory can be enhanced by tethering emotion and observations to the present moment. We expand our aliveness and personal awareness through being fully engaged with the details and the energy of the environment.
When that environment is toxic, this triggers other time splinters, other lessons and experiences to cluster together as “memory”. It’s easy to be selective about the past or avoid seeing something for what it truly is. However, when the request for details is benign, we can access memory using our memory of how something felt in order to retrieve detail.
As A.A. Milne states, that moment before something is experienced is what is memorable, the emotions, the anticipation and the experience itself. All of these add details to the present moment.
Being present is a power move. It allows you to expand your perception of time and events and sharpen your memory.
Regardless of whether the association of the memory is positive, happy or negative and dark, we can reach inward to select time fragments that can/will benefit our present and enhance mental clarity. Use time and memory to powerfully step forward. All you need to do is stay present.
