Light must come from inside. You cannot ask the darkness to leave; you must turn on the light."
Sogyal Rinpoche
Sacred Illumination.
When does the light within recognize itself?
This may seem like an odd question but your thoughts on what this is and why one would notice their own energy, their own light and their inner beacon of truth, provides sacred illumination.
This awareness of light percolates to the surface in meditation. A flash of inner light perhaps. A thought that hits you like a thunderbolt. You recognize divine light that jolts your attention toward something deeper than “just a meditation or just a thought”. The doorway to light can be your faith, your divinity and your purpose.
When we are encircled by contrasting energy, negative energy and places cloaked in darkness, we begin to recognize light and the doorways to receiving it.
When the light breaks through.
Doorways of light can manifest in many ways. These are paths to freedom and to a greater understanding of your divine connection with something higher. Doorways can be triggered by an illness, an accident, a loss of a pet or a loved one, high stress environments and situations. In a more benign form, new doorways to light could be induced with exercise, creative flow states, games, and sports, in happiness, deep relaxation and recognized with glimpses of inner peace.
In polar opposite states, we allow a pause and a breakthrough into the light. We open ourselves to connection to the divine, your own soul and conversations with your higher self. When we recognize and step through gateways of light, we move ourselves into a new iteration, one with new perspectives and more openness to the light within.
No degree of worldly darkness can extinguish the glow of a soul‘s inner light.”
Wes Fesler
New doorways to your own light appear when you are ready for the next iteration of the self to step forward. Light of the soul and the divine merge in sacred spaces. No one can change this appointment.
