Your sacred space is where you can find yourself again and again.
Joseph Campbell
Creating Sacred Space.
Meditation creates the energy for entering into a sacred space, one occupied by the soul. Here we can just appreciate our thoughts, emotions and feel the energy flowing through us. This attention is love turned inwards and a sacred space for our highest version of ourselves to speak to us, nudge us with inspired thoughts and ideas.
It is crucial for anyone sensitive to energies to learn how to create a clean sacred space to buffer anything negative, manipulative and draining to our energy.
Just as we install a firewall to keep out malware and disruptors to our electronics, we also need to create energy firewalls to prevent loss of energy or distortion of your health. This can be done with intention and our attention.
Intention can be simple as a statement or a prayer for protection. Our attention to things that improve our lives, move us positively, bring us joy and happiness are ways we can divert “dark energy” and let it flow through us.
Buddhists see anger and negative energy as a gift we don’t have to accept. In your mind , have compassion for the sender/ the complainer/ the bad news announcer/ the person addicted to being angry or the person covering their hurt that offers the negative perspective of practically everything. Let those crabby crabs stay in the bucket and let yourself escape the drama with a simple no response or walk in the opposite direction.
Step into silence and create your own sacred space with meditation, visualization or mindfulness practice. Sacred spaces are powerful and healing.
Prayer and Guidance.
Connect to sacred spaces through prayer. Become a prayer warrior and invite disciplined worship and divine guidance. Strengthen your holy connections and become more aware of your own divinity.
The practice of daily prayer for instance, expands your sacred inner space and light. You will find more reasons to be grateful for sacred spaces and your own life. Over time, your spiritual expansion and “intel” will be noticeable and more sacred.
Energetic Firewalls.
Either through creating a sacred space and or by consciously energizing firewalls, it is possible to take authority over your energy. Draining energies, negative mind chatter are reduced and prevented from diverting your attention to “other” pursuits that aren’t aligned with your divine purpose.
While what we resist might persist, the energy of what bothered or diverted you in the past will have less effects. More energy will be poured into the direction you are being called to step into. So, in a non-conflict way , you will peacefully shift energy by letting it flow through you, bounce off or return to sender through non-response or by just walking away. This is your own sacred firewall that uses valuable energy to create, build and restore you into perfect alignment to walk in your purpose.
Tread softly. All the earth is holy ground.
Christina Rossetti
Sacred spaces can be created but moving toward simple meditation practice and prayer will expand your inner sacred space. Use your intention and attention to surround your sacred spaces with an energetic firewall. Strengthen them with protective prayers and by honouring your own right to set boundaries and protect your energy field wherever you are.
