The Mindset of the Heart.

The human heart feels things the eyes cannot see, and knows what the mind cannot understand.”

The place of Two Minds.

When you make a decision, are you just using your mind to rationalize a choice? Or, are you allowing your feelings to take over and command a response?

Once we recognize we are influenced not entirely by the mind ,but also by the heart, we are ready to integrate these two minds.

What is your heart telling you right now? What are you inspired to choose? What does the mind want? Is it control? Is it certainty? Is it forcing a state of being we will need to fight to keep?

These are simple questions you can use to engage both minds.

Inspired by Divine Intelligence.

Could it be that divine intelligence is really communicating with us through the heart as it reasons with our mind?

Meditation and prayer are powerful mediators for inner conflict resolution. When we allow space for an answer or insight into a problem, resting in the place of the Most High will bring you peace as you wait.

This may not resonate with your beliefs. However, regardless, it is possible to dim distractions and hold space in meditation or through a mindfulness practice. Just create a pause. This will allow intuitive insight and “gut feelings” to nudge you toward a decision.

The old adage “When in doubt- don’t” holds true here.

The Magnetic pull of Happiness.

Happiness is communicated through the mindset of the heart.  Inspiration. Following your bliss.  Notice the sweeping energy that aligns with a decision or an inspired action. This is how the mindset of the heart counsels us, through energy, emotions and through “instincts”.  The mind on its own will try to control, rationalize and limit actions.

Which side are you listening to?

Allow yourself to step into the mindset of the heart in meditation. Spend time in silence and notice, not only your thoughts but how you are feeling in that moment. Divine intelligence will move through you if you are open to it. Listen to your heart. Listen for wise counsel.  They are always there if you allow silence and space for them.

Sometimes it’s hard, sometimes it’s easy, the places that your heart takes you. But continue to follow it. Where the train leads you – you’ll get there.”

The mindset of the heart is a powerful adjudicator, liberator, inquisitor and self-regulator. Use it wisely and recognize that your old patterns and old hurts may leak into the equation, if not entirely healed. Stay open to unexpected responses to questions.  The heart is intelligent. It truly knows you.
